1. Ferry Side B & B is open year round and we provide parking.
2. At present our accomodations are spacious bed/sitting rooms and lounge.
3. Ferryside B&B has two rooms, one with a queen and one with twin beds
4. We are three (3) minutes from the BC Ferry at Departure Bay and yes, you could walk this easily in ten (10) minutes.
5. Our home is smoke free; however there are areas outside where you may smoke.
6. Our Lounge is equipped with a microwave, mini fridge and coffee pot.
7. We are close to major shopping, dining, nightlife, golfing and downtown Nanaimo.
8. Nanaimo’s population is 79,645.
9. The City is located on the east side of Vancouver Island, 48.3 km (30 miles, 26.1 nautical miles) west of Vancouver and 113 km (70 miles) north of Victoria, the capital of British Columbia.
10. Nanaimo has a temperate, Mediterranean-like-climate, moderate rain in the winter and is dry and sunny in the summer.
11. Nanaimo is accessible by water, BC Ferries, and private boat. By air, jet or turbo prop at the Nanaimo Airport or by seaplane on the Harbor.
12. There are two Ferry Terminals, one departing from Horseshoe Bay, Vancouver and arriving at Departure Bay, Nanaimo the second departing from Tsawwassen and arriving at Duke Point at the south end of Nanaimo.
